Black Friday!!! I did it! First time in 3 years that I've attempted the black friday madness and survived. It really wasn't that bad. Tanger Outlet opened at midnight, but I waited until 7:00 AM. After shopping, I picked up a coffee and breakfast sandwich at Dunkin Donuts.
While K & C may be touring museums and viewing architectural masterpieces, we at Chateau Bow Wow have been entertained by the Three Canines. Buckley was less than impressed with the stuffed duck after his real carcass from yesterday, but he managed to drag Diesel across the back yard anyway.

Costume time: Today, we tried dressing them up....quite a challenge with a hyperactive attention deficit disorder dog in the mix....not giving names here, but I'm sure you can guess which one!!! It didn't take long for the humans to decide that there was no way to get a group shot of all three dogs. Diesel loved the fact that Abby had a stuffed animal around her neck and thought he could drag her around....in typical male fashion, he kept undressing her! We were going for the stuffed sheep disguise.

We attempted to disguise Diesel as an elephant, but he didn't like the look.

Buckley got the g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s look with his scarf/hat. He's either the Doggy Llama or an Afghan Hound.

After we finished tormenting the dogs, and they quieted down a bit, Mom and Sharon took Kara and Diesel's picture, hopefully to use in a holiday card.

Mom, Sharon, Kara and the Three Canines took a walk this afternoon and got a few pictures of the beach.
Kara and Sharon went to the soundside to take some sunset pictures. There were several other people there as well, and one guy commented, kind of funny to see so many people for an event that happens every day!

For dinner, we had chicken piccata with lemons, capers, and parsley, wild rice, peas ala green giant, bread with oil and balsamic vinegar, and two oysters for most of us....Dad consumed most of them while he was cooking, and we scrounged for the remainder! Kara got nominated to beat the crap out of the raw chicken to flatten it....this was based on her Wii boxing fitness level, and as some may recall her pounding of Kristy in the Wii boxing match last Christmas.

Mom had enough of the Three Canines and finished off the wine to help her ignore Diesel's whines.

And for the humorous stories....remember when:
- Dad left Kara out in the rain at elementary school and Eva Lee picked her up and took her back to Dad's workplace and proceeded to help her dry her hair under the hand dryer.
- The Christmas that Mom, Dad, and Sharon spent all night putting together a Barbie van for Kara, and got a stereo for Kristy....and Kara ran downstairs Christmas morning and said "wow, I got a stereo, just what I wanted"....while Mom, Dad, and Sharon gasped because they forgot to put names on the presents. No way in hell was Kristy falling for a Barbie van when she wanted the stereo...and the adults were pissed that Kara didn't realize that 3 hours of torture went into putting together the Barbie van.
- Easter baskets that were supposed to be on the kids beds when they got back from the beach. Kara got hers, and Kristy couldn't find hers and was crying. Come to find out the cat knocked Kristy's basket off of her bed.
- The Christmas that Kara and Kristy got up early and opened up all of the presents, and the parent's didn't know who gave what to whom....so the next year they got revenge....the parents hid all of the presents and left clues. When Kristy and Kara went downstairs early, they couldn't find anything and said "santa didn't come." Mom & Dad said go back to bed. A few hours lately they found their clues....Kristy went quickly through them, while Kara gave up quickly, cause the clues were too hard. It was especially bad when the final present was hidden in her own room.
- And then there were the summers in the hayfield....Kara got to drive the tractor and had a hell of a time with the clutch. She kept jerking the haywagon while Kristy was cussing her out...but with the sound of the tractor, Kara couldn't hear anything!!!
- Sharon put a fake frog in Kara's bed, and Kara climbed into bed and yelled "you bitch!!!"
- or how about the time that Mom wanted flood pictures, so she made Kara ride on the top of the Subaru to take pictures. Kara kept saying she didn't like it up there, and Mom kept saying, "be quiet and keep taking pictures."
- or the time that Kristy and Kara fed their dog Katie bubble gum and Mom & Dad had to cut it out of her coat.
- and the time Kristy and Kara were arguing over the front seat, so Mom kicked them both out of the car and made them walk home. Kara cried the whole way, while Kristy stormed off in anger.
- when Kristy and Kara used to slide down the steps on their stomachs, feet first.....it's believed that Kristy started this tradition. Good thing they know how to walk down steps now.
